Teaching a child to read is one of the most precious gifts a parent can give.
Through the use of books provided by your generous donations, the Miami Valley Literacy Council BACK PACK Project gives parents the ability to spend precious time reading with their children and building a love of learning.
During the Magical Season of Giving, support the BACK PACK Project so it can help parents in the Miami Valley build a strong future for their children. Bring in new or gently used books and drop them in any of the themed backpack slots. The Miami Valley Literacy Council and Dayton Mall will work together to make sure every book you donate will be given to a family who will treasure it for many years to come.

Santa will come to your home and read the classic story "Twas The Night Before Christmas" to your children. Then he’ll leave them with a selection of children’s books provided by the Dayton Mall Borders. No purchase necessary, must be 18 or older to enter.
