The magic of the holiday season begins at Dayton Mall with Santa’s arrival! We’ll have live holiday entertainment and fun giveaways for all as we welcome Santa back to his festive holiday home.
After Santa arrives, we’ll kick off the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital “Give Thanks. Walk.” 5K Walk. Join Santa and his holiday friends as they lead the way around the first lap of the mall with community supporters walking to raise money for the children of St. Jude. Sensitive Santa

This is a special time to visit Santa which is reserved just for children with Autism. Dayton Mall will make its Santa area "Sensory-Friendly" with lower lighting and quieter surroundings.
We'll provide each family who attends with a free Santa photo and festive giveaways to commemorate this magical holiday season.
Paintbrush Pottery Ornament Painting

Children of all ages will have fun painting their very own Hannah’s Treasure Chest “Giving Angel” ornament that they can take home and enjoy.
Dance Along Nutcracker with the Miami Valley Dance Company

Talent is not a prerequisite to participate in this event. Kids, moms, dads, grandparents, even great grandparents will have the time of their lives dancing together to songs from a Christmas favorite, The Nutcracker.
The Wellington at Dayton Grandparents & Grandkids Free Santa Photo Day

To celebrate this magical season and the special bond between grandparents and grandkids, The Wellington at Dayton is giving away a free Dayton Mall Santa Photo to 250 lucky grandparents. Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis

Get in the spirit this holiday season at the Arthritis Foundaton’s Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis®. This is a fun and festive way to kick off your holidays by helping others. Wear a holiday themed costume, or just tie jingle bells to your shoelaces and get ready to run/walk 5 kilometers with your friends and celebrate the season by giving.

Iams Home 4 the Holiday Pet Adopt-a-thon Event

Find your perfect pet and bring them “Home 4 the Holiday” during our annual Pet Adopt-a-thon Event. We will be joined by the Humane Society of Greater Dayton, SICSA, and the Montgomery County Animal Resource Center as they continue their mission to provide loving homes for orphaned pets in the Dayton area.
